We were going over recipes in my German 4 class, and one of our activities included baking ein Apfel Kuchen. So my fellow peers and I were cracking walnuts to go on top of the cake (Christian was certainly entertained by the idea of “cracking nuts”) and this walnut turned out to have a heart shape. 
On a more meaningful note, perhaps it is a sign telling me that even under the toughest exteriors, there will always be some good. Yin and Yang, feel me? haha
